We may think that the dawn of Infographics started during the introduction of vector graphics applications. That is when people are trying to get away from text presentations and process data to visual information.  For example, the Sumerians depicts the solar system by carving into cylinders.

The Egyptians are also popular for their hieroglyphics.They are used to communicate their history, pharaoh campaigns, victory in wars, process of building their infrastructure or even security of their lives after death. They are often scriptureson temple walls and pillars and papyrus – the first form of paper. These ancient infographics are important references for archeologists to study lost civilizations.
