GoPro Walk Tour: R A S A - PhilippIndian Cuisine Beef Curry + Paratha Bread

I just heard that there is a restaurant here in Alfonso, Cavite that serves Indian Food. I personally like Indian food thus leads our walk tour to RASA PhippIndian Cuisine. This will be my fourth time eating Indian food. First and second were in Makati.The third was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which were cooked by Indian immigrants.

According to RASA’s name, they both serve Filipino and Indian cuisines. Which we are about to discover on our walk tour. RASA is easy to find. They are located at Marahan Uno, Alfonso, Cavite.

One thing unique about their decoration is the display of Philippine and Indian flags hanging on the walls in the entrance. The counter is decorated with laces of paper florals, Indian flags and peacocks. The color scheme is that of deep yellow or technically known as Indian Yellow. India is popular for the production of Indian Yellow. This justifies why RASA chose this color.

In the Philippines, Indian food is tagged with curries. So I ordered Paratha and beef Curry. In the platter, there is a bowl of beef curry, Paratha bread, and a white sauce. The beef tastes like coconut milk and parsley spiced by chilli pepper. Paratha bread is like a crunchy pita. I also ordered a pink lassi drink that tastes like rose petals which compliments the spices of the beef curry.

My total bill is 388 pesos. Beef curry and Parathe Bread is 239 pesos while Lassi is 149 pesos.

RASA has a lot to offer from silog meals, pares, pastas and even bulalo! But if you would like to have a taste of Indian food, try visiting their restaurant.
